WHY TWILIGHT ZONE DAY?
My boss is a business mogul. He makes and breaks business real estate and company purchases like it's going out of style. Lately, he had decided to branch out into another avenue of companies... the retail-entertainment-hospitality industry. No No, not adult entertainment, more like restaurants... and cafe's.
First thing this morning I am advised that there is an important client meeting around lunchtime, and that I should be prepared to sit in on the meeting and take notes...etc.
Alright then, sounds great.
12:30 rolls around and I am called into the conference room to attend to my administrative duties. Donning my glasses and note pad I grace the room with my presence. 6 other men sit amongst the conference room table... well dressed but casual. My boss moves to introduce me to them one by one, but I am a-flurry with nervousness and per-occupied with about a hundred other duties sitting back at my desk. As we near the end of the table, I choke on my own saliva.
There stands Red's husband... hand extended and smiling silly at me.
"Emma, it's a pleasure to meet you... I hear you're a great PA."
